History

Danny Wolverton started the Tucson Sculpture Festival in 2010, and ran it for the past 3 years featuring the Sculpture Resource Center as the main venue.

2010 (1st year):

The festival was held at the Sculpture Resource Center; Mat Bevel Museum of Kinetic Art; and the Fragment Gallery in the Citizen's Warehouse.

2011 (2nd year):

The festival was held at the Sculpture Resource Center; Mat Bevel Museum of Kinetic Art; the Solar Culture Gallery; and Susan Kay Johnson's studio.

2013 (4th year):

This year the festival is at the Whistle Stop Depot and the Sculpture Resource Center. We are indebted to WAMO, Industria Studios, and the Solar Culture Gallery for helping the festival get off the ground this year, and into the new, bigger space.
